PTA and Fund Raising Committees

Holton le Clay Junior School  PTA is a group of staff and parents who raise much needed additional funds for the school. The events we hold raise a substantial amount of money each year - usually around three thousand pounds annually. This money can be used to purchase extra items that benefit the children, provide the finance to buy in visitors and also transport to the Christmas Panto.

Aside from our fundraising, many of our events aim to provide suitable entertainment for the whole family and are usually popular social events, especially our Bingo nights.

At Holton le Clay Infant School our Fundraising Committee arrange events such as, Easter Hunt, Bunny Bounce, Treasure Hunts and Snowman Drives all to raise money for items on the Infant pupils wish list.

Our PTA and Fundraising Committees are always looking for new members and new ideas.

Please talk to Mr Hornsby at the Junior School if you are interested or Mrs Ellerby at the Infant School.

Co-op Community Champion

Our local Co-op are supporting charities/groups that are working on food sustainability and/or food surplus including cooking & growing projects and wrap around care for people in food poverty. Here at Holton le Clay Infant School we have been successful in our applications to be Community Champions.

Holton Le Clay Infant School are enthusiastic for growing and caring for a variety of food produce with children involved in Farm to Fork project, after school gardening club and maintaining raised beds for growing food and plants. Money will go towards revamping the garden area and extra equipment.

Every time a member shops and uses their dividend card, a donation will go to the local Community Champions.  Co-op members are linked to their home store so no matter where they shop, money will always go to a cause that is close to where they live.
