Job Title: Administration Assistant 

Contract Term: Permanent

Salary: 3.6

Start Date: 24th February 2024

Contract: Part time 18.75 hours per week, term time only

We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our hard-working and dedicated school team. The ideal candidate will have experience of providing support to ensure the smooth running of the school. The post holders will be based in Holton le Clay Junior School, however, there may be a requirement to work at the sister site on occasion.


The post holder will:

  • Ensure the security of cash, checking and banking cash received, including where necessary keeping accounts.
  • Assist in completion of reports as required by governors and external bodies involved with the school.
  • Be responsible for the accuracy, completeness and validity of the payroll returns and for the payment of salaries and wages including PAYE, NIC and superannuation.
  • Receive incoming goods and check against orders as required.
  • Assist in the arrangement of routine in school activities
  • Assist in the compilation of such reports and records, and assessment of data as may be required by the school, governors, Education Authority or DfES.
  • Liaise with parents as directed regarding issues relating to individual pupils, including investigating absences.
  • Handle cash in line with the schools finance policy, which may include collecting money from pupils and parents.
  • Input data onto computerized systems e.g. SAP\SIMS/Integris (or other database software) as required.
  • Arrange staff cover as required
  • Assist with arrangements for the election of parent and teacher governors

Holton le Clay Schools Federation is looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor at Holton le Clay Junior School (but may be required to work at our federated school, Holton le Clay Infant School)

 

Midday Supervisory Assistant Permanent / Term Time only

Hours per week: 10 Hours of duty, currently 11.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. (subject to change)

Salary - Grade: G2.3

Required to start as soon as possible.  

 

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, positive, enthusiastic and reliable Midday Supervisory Assistant to work in a team within our friendly school.

Duties include: setting up tables/chairs, serving hot school meals, supervising lunch and assisting with playground duties outside (in classrooms if wet weather). A full job description is attached. Training sessions will be attended and paid outside of contracted hours.

The Governors and Executive Headteacher of Holton le Clay Federation of Schools are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and hardworking staff to join the team at Holton le Clay Federation.  The successful applicants will be committed and passionate about working with children and will want to be part of the wider school team.
